Kaylin + Kevin: The Wedding
As autumn nears it's end, so does the craziness at Britta the Photographer. From chasing around toddlers to photographing beautiful brides, this autumn was a fantastic season full of love, great weather and tons of happy faces. While the holiday season has it's own share of craziness, I do look forward to planning for next year... and sharing more of the awesomeness from the last few months.My final wedding of October was that of Kaylin and Kevin who were married at First Lutheran Church in Fargo. Yet again, the weather gods shined upon the Red River Valley. I arrived in the afternoon to photograph Kaylin and her crew at the church. Her dress was so beautiful and modern... and it had pockets! Oh, how I love pockets.
Kaylin and Kevin exchanged notes to each other before their first look. It was a sweet moment watching them read their letters just before they would see each other for the first time on that day.
So sweet.
The couple made their own wedding flowers for the day - a simple yet sophisticated mix of Baby's Breath and Eucalyptus.
I was a big fan of Kevin's blue suit. It was such a fun contrast to the groomsmen's medium grey suits.
Yet another wonderful and kind wedding party and families.
First Lutheran is a gorgeous church.
After the ceremony, we headed downtown for a nice, laid-back session with just the bride and groom.
And then, we got hungry. Good thing Spicy Pie was ready to serve up some tasty Pizza!
Kaylin and Kevin's guests were ready to celebrate at Trollwood Performing Center in Moorhead. The couple began the celebration with a sweet first dance.
With those first dances out of the way, guests were encouraged to get right out on the dance floor following the speeches. Oh, and were they ready!
