Chelsea + Brittany: The Wedding
Going into Chelsea and Brittany's wedding day, I knew I would have a blast. During their engagement session earlier this year, we connected over our mutual love of beer and their love-filled, yet laid back vision of their wedding day. Their day was a happy one filled with love, respect, and joy.Chelsea and Brittany were married the Saturday after Thanksgiving at Bluestem Center for the Arts in south Moorhead. It's always a happy day for Britta the Photographer when I get to photograph TWO brides getting ready. Β First was Brittany, who slipped into her dress with the help of her sister and mum.Chelsea also had some help from her own sister and mother. And, hello... Chelsea and her sister Ashleigh look SO MUCH alike. I took quite a few double takes before Chelsea slipped on her dress. After both ladies were ready, we arranged a first look right outside the building. Brittany was waiting for Chelsea, who covered her eyes before going back to back.Normally in late November, we're battling snow and cold temps up here in the upper, upper midwest. Luckily, the weather was unseasonably gorgeous for these beauties, and we were able to spend quite a bit of time roaming the grounds around Bluestem without freezing our buns off.Seriously, guys... these two are so much fun to photograph.Okay, so it may have started to feel a little cool out there. Good thing they ladies brought their favorite flannel blanket for a few outdoor snuggles.Their sisters (aka bridesmaids, aka personal attendants, aka BTP helpers) jumped in for a few images too.And we finished up capturing a few of my favorite images of the day. Now, before we continue, let us pause and take a moment to admire the gorgeous arrangements created by Love Always, Floral. Totally swoon worthy. As the sun was setting in the late afternoon, Chelsea and Brittany took a few deep breaths, laughed with their families and then tied the knot.Their celebration was a blast, full of love, cake and some very interesting speeches.Chelsea and Brittany continued the festivities with a very sweet first dance. It was a wonderful day spent with Chelsea and Brittany. Before I left, I snapped this image of the couple outside in the fog. It was a great end to a fantastic day.
