Heather & Ganesh: The Wedding

I always know I've photographed something special when it takes me just as long to write a blog post about the event then it actually took me to photograph it. The last few days I've put together, taken apart, re-put together the images in this blog post. I just want to show you everything! But, to spare you and your time, I've whittled it down (barely) to a few of my favorite images.I've known Heather for a couple years. She's been a huge part of the art community here in Fargo/Moorhead and an all-around fantastic human being. It wasn't until their engagement session that I met Ganesh - and I gotta say, he's pretty great too. Together, they are incredible and it was such an honor to photograph their day. Heather and Ganesh's entire wedding took place at the lovely Crooked Lane Farm, a short drive south Fargo. It was their second wedding in a week, as they had a Hindu ceremony the Monday prior - obvious by the beautiful henna which still adorned Heather's hands and feet.

Heather and Ganesh have the greatest connection - full of light and love and kindness. 

Wonderful friends and family too.

Their July wedding day was bright and sunny, right up until their ceremony. Unafraid of a little rain, they rushed down the aisle to get married before a small storm hit. 

The rest of the evening was beautiful and sunny - both the weather and the celebration.
