Kelsey & Jake: The Wedding

There was no doubt about it, I knew going in to Kelsey and Jake's wedding day that I was going to have a blast. I had met Kelsey when I photographed her friend Krista's wedding in 2014. She was the bridesmaid with all the awesome dance moves and all the great laughs. Like Kelsey, Jake is humor-filled, a tiny-bit sassy and always willing to have a good time. Together they are an adorable and lively duo and I was so happy they had me document all the fun.I met Kelsey the morning of her wedding day at ADAE salon in Fargo.

We then headed to the Residence Inn by Marriott to get ready for the day.  Such beautiful details, and I'm still in LOVE with Kelsey's dress!

Jake was patiently waiting for us at Lion's Conservancy Park where the couple would have their first look and take a few pictures.

Kelsey and Jake were married Kelsey's childhood church, Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Moorhead.

After a few good hugs, Kelsey and Jake were off to celebrate! We made a couple stops - at her parent's home to give their dog, Tim, a few good hugs, and downtown Fargo for a few portraits by the always gorgeous Ivers building.

The celebration was held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fargo and was FULL of sparkle and good times.

After some cake, the party really got started!

Oh, and did you know we are all dancing to the song "shout" wrong? Yep. According to Kelsey's dad, Greg, this is the proper way to dance to the song:So awesome.
