Rachel & Kyle: The Wedding

Oh, September... you are the most beautiful of all the Minnesota months. With your wild displays of color and cooling temperatures, you make us want grab the ones we love and cuddle with giant cups of cocoa and big flannel blankets. You are the month for lovers - and I love you, September.In mid-September, I ventured out to Barn at Five Lakes Resort, near Vergas, Minnesota, to photograph Rachel and Kyle's romantic autumn wedding. Rachel's family owns a home right down the road from the gorgeous resort, and we spent the first part of our day there getting ready. Look at all her beautiful details!Rachel was so calm as she prepared for the day, only showing a slight sign nervousness before she had a first look with her dad.

We then headed to the Barn at Five Lakes Resort, where Kyle was waiting for the first look with his beautiful bride.Seriously, just the sweetest.Having spent quite a bit of time in the area, Rachel knew the perfect place to go for portraits with the bridal party.

We headed back to the barn to prepare for the wedding!Rachel and Kyle had long planned to have their wedding inside the barn. Good thing too! Stormy weather was on the horizon!After the wedding, the couple and their wedding party snuck away for a few celebratory drinks.And then off to the tent for the wedding reception.

Everyone had so much fun. And as the skies continued to sprinkle us with rain, we all headed to the barn for the wedding dance to boogie the night away.
