Kasi + John: The Wedding

Despite my best efforts, my blogging motivation in December hit a wall. Sure, I could blame pre-holiday craziness both at home and at the studio - but, it was more likely I was making too many cookies... or I was eating too many cookies. Either way, it's entirely the fault of cookies. So, 2013 blog catch up continues into 2014. I have a few weddings to share, a whole bunch of portrait sessions + engagement sessions and few grad sessions. In other words: lots, and lots and lots. January on the blogsite should be pretty darn hoppin'.

Now, let me take you back to September... late September... late, cold, wet grey September. Kasi and John (aka Shipley) were planning a beautiful outdoor wedding at Trollwood Park in Fargo. But, mother nature had other plans and showered the Red River Valley with cold, drizzly rain through the morning and early afternoon. So their park wedding was moved to their reception location of El Zagel shrine.

We headed to my downtown Fargo studio for formal portraits then made our way El Zagel for the wedding. As we entered El Zagel, the clouds parted and VOILA, like magic, sunshine and blue skies. So, why not move the wedding outside at the last minute? It was so very Kasi + Shipley and it was perfect start to a fantastic celebration.
