Rebecca + Matthew: The Wedding
Okay, I admit it, this post is ridiculously long. But when sharing the love story of a couple like Becca and Matt, a post with less photos just wouldn't do their day justice. Perhaps it was their awesome friends and family. Perhaps it was the perfect March day. Perhaps it was the obvious love between this gorgeous couple. Whatever it was, the day was magical and I'm so happy I was able to capture their wedding day memories.
Now, before I go any further, you must know that Becca + Matt planned their wedding in a month-in-a-half. That's right. Soon after their early 2012 engagement, they decided to expedite their vows and picked March 31 as their wedding day. Everything was perfect and is proof that with a little planning and work, a lovely celebration can be planned in a very short time.
Becca + Matt were married at the beautiful Hopper-Danley Chapel on the campus of the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. I met up with Becca at the Canad Inn where she and her lovely ladies prepared for the day.
Matt was looking pretty handsome as he waited for his bride. Aren't they an adorable couple?
Soon after the ceremony, the couple and their guests headed over to the Alerus Center for the super fun wedding reception.
My favorite memory of the celebration was the cake walk-like game to win Becca's bouquet. It was pretty competitive, but...
...Matt's grandma won the Bouquet. It was such a sweet moment.
Favorite moment #2: During the garder auction, Becca and Matt revealed a shorter version of Becca's dress. So fun!
Congratulations Matt & Becca and thank you for allowing me to capture your love!
